The Oxford Biochemical Society (OUBS) is a student-run society that aims to promote biochemistry at all levels across the university. We organise seminars that bring scientists from around the world to Oxford, and careers days for students and staff across the life sciences.
OUBS is one of the largest scientific student societies at Oxford University. Our membership is diverse, encompassing students and staff from all of the Department's branches. This reflects our goal of bringing together people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
We are the official graduate/undergraduate student association affiliated with the Department of Biochemistry in Oxford.
The OUBS meets every term in the New Biochemistry building.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Meetings are currently moved back to in-person. If you are interested in getting involved, feel free to get in touch with us!
We are dependent on sponsorship to run our events. We thank our sponsors for their support.
